Art and breast reconstruction - practice in breast sculpting
All the most important techniques used in daily practice will be presented in an interactive manner, from pedicles, through prostheses and fat grafting, to reconstructions with local flaps based on perforators and myocutaneous flaps.
We will also have a workshop on areola and nipple reconstruction, with 3D micropigmentation and preoperative marking of tumor and axillary lymph node with activated charcoal guided by ultrasound, where everyone will be able to perform these procedures.
There will also be preoperative markings for all patients who will be operated on, where participants will be able to see one of the most important and complex moments in this type of surgery live.
The highlight of the course, where surgical skills can be improved in all oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques, will be the surgeries on patients, performed in the presence of a highly selected team of professors who will interact directly with the participants, in a unique learning experience.
ONCOPLASTICS IMMERSION
The purpose of this unique and innovative event is to provide a complete immersion in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery. On the first day, all the most important techniques used in our daily practice will be presented in an interactive manner, from pedicles, through prostheses and fat grafting, to reconstructions with local flaps based on perforators and myocutaneous flaps.
Right after that, we will have a workshop on areola and nipple reconstruction, with 3D micropigmentation and preoperative marking of tumor and axillary lymph node with activated charcoal guided by ultrasound, where everyone will be able to perform these procedures. At the end of the afternoon, we will have preoperative markings for all patients who will be operated on the following day, where participants will be able to see one of the most important and complex moments in this type of surgery live. After this, we will have an opening cocktail and a very different and unique activity.
Participants will sculpt their breasts, using art as a way to understand symmetry, repair and breast aesthetics. On the second day, in the surgical center, surgeries will be performed on previously scheduled patients. This is the high point of the course and where your surgical skills can be improved in all oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques. All this in the presence of a highly selected team of professors who will interact directly with the participants, in a unique learning experience. We will conclude the course with a closing dinner and the certificate presentation ceremony.
